Release of the OTOair Bluetooth dongle

The users of the ASTERA/OTOflex combo will highly appreciate the release of our dedicated Bluetooth dongle called OTOair. It will build a very strong and stable wireless connection between OTOflex and OTOsuite.

OTOair is a new solution for OTOsuite compatible Bluetooth instruments, i.e. MADSEN OTOflex 100 abs also AURICAL SpeechLink 100, AURICAL VisibleSpeech and AURICAL FreeFit.

OTOair introduces the following benefits:

• It is a dedicated solution for Otometrics instruments, that does not interfere with or depend on Windows     Bluetooth stack or 3rd party drivers, which reduces the problems and troubleshooting known from traditional Bluetooth setups.
• The scanning for devices is faster with OTOair because only Otometrics devices are recognized in the scanning process.
• Plug and Play installation of OTOair is smooth and fast.
• As opposed to traditional Bluetooth dongles, you don’t have to remember to insert the OTOair into the same USB port.

OTOair is supported as of OTOsuite v. 3.50. OTOsuite still supports normal Bluetooth dongles as well.
